One of my goals is to add a few more soft, homey touches to my classroom to create a more inviting environment. This week I brought home a few baskets and tubs to brighten them up with ribbon. It is such a simple fix but I hope it will have a big impact.
This was my inspiration:
And this is what I did for my classroom:
Now I have a few binders to work on before summer slips away! Have a great Monday:)

I love the clothespins! I would like to make some that match my classroom. Did you mod podge them?

MULTIAGE MOMENTS
I probably should have used mod podge, but I was doing this late at night (after everyone was asleep!) and I didn't have any. I made a quickie homemade version with glue and water and it worked really well. The hardest part was cutting the scrapbook paper into those tiny little pieces!
DeleteYour buckets came out super adorable!! I love the ribbon choice!

Learning Is Something to Treasure
Thank you! It's amazing what a little bit of ribbon will do to a Dollar Tree basket, isn't it?
DeleteYour baskets look great! What a big difference the ribbon made!!

Ms. Jones’ Junction
Thank you! I am pleased with how they turned out. Although, I can't believe I put $12 worth of ribbon on $3 worth of baskets!!
DeleteEverything you made came out super cute!

First Grade Fairytales
Very cute! I just made clothespins, too! I don't remember who, but someone told me that a great way to do it is to glue the clothes pins right to the scrapbook paper and then use an X-Acto knife to cut it out after the glue dries. Just a tip in case you need to make more!
